Default 1951 mercury brakes

1951 mercury has any one installed a power brake that mounts under the car with a 7" booster does it work well

I did, they did not work well. I had to install a reserve vacumn tank and a 8" booster to get them to work properly

Yes, I installed the under floor 7" booster and dual master setup utilizing the original drum brakes. Worked well and there is adequate vacuum.
I later converted to front disc brakes and that made the system even better.
