Default Model A Gas Tank Identification

I have just bought a Model A gas tank that is marked as 28-29. I had always thought that a tank with no firewall is a 30-31. I don't have a cowl to fit it so I hope you folks can help. Thanks very much for looking. Rusty

Definitely a 28/29. The flange at the side, the shape of the dash reveal and the screw on gas cap area dead giveaway

The rest of the responders are correct, it is a 28-29. But..it is missing
the upper part of the firewall!
