Congratulations on your new purchase.
This Australian 1936 Ford Roadster Ute used to reside in Australia, but I believe that it has now found a new owner in the USA.

Magnificent! a passenger car grill and striping straight through the bed. Can you show a view of the tailgate with the stripe? I'll bet it didn't have a tonneu (spelling?) bed cover as original, did it?

Not that Trevor needs any help but I figured I would tag team with him and add a few more. As a 1935 Ute owner and Ute connoisseur of all years.

Great to see pictures of your 1936 Ford Roadster Ute. It will certainly draw a lot of attention in your part of the world. They are very rare here these days, even though they were quite popular in their day.

Thanks mercman from oz for restyling the photos. I wondered if you would make them bigger.

I have been parts collecting 36 stuff so far I purchased a 36 rhd steering box off ebay for dirt cheap, and got that installed. Pulled seized transmission, the even odder was I had a 35-6 red trans on hand. Nats north nsra I found 2 front fenders and a pair of running boards. Hershey I found the rear fenders and running board covers. I have a 37 21 stud engine on hand also.

1935-1936 Ford Roadster, Roadster Ute Doors - Notice the different lengths?
Ford Australia had to shorten the doors on the Ute so as to clear the side mounted spare wheel.
