Default Stock height springs

I want to replace springs on my 52 F1 with a softer ride spring since the truck is mostly going to be for pleasure driving. I would like to maintain the stock height and look. Poisies super slide were of interest but show 3” drop in height. Anyone got any suggestions of what they might have done or know about? Thanks and Merry Christmas to all!

Pull the springs out, disassemble and clean and paint and remove a couple of leaves and reassemble with spring liner plastic inserts. Should be just about right and will be almost the same height

I'd suggest locating NOS springs - not reproduction nor NORS and installing those after you'd disassembled them, cleaned and lubricated. You would be amazed at the difference NOS springs make in both ride characteristics and handling.
Plus, with NOS, you will most likely be surprised at how the stock height (the true designed height) varies from what you currently believe to be "stock".
I have sourced NOS springs for each and every one of my restorations.

Do you have a source for NOS springs that you’ve had good luck with?

I'm with cool33. I have done this many time to all of the big three with good to great results. The best is my 41 ford pickup. My 36 dodge pickup handled like a sports car. Best of luck, Tim
