K. R. Wilson Timing Fixture 101
I have purchased a K.R. Wilson timing fixture, but I do not know how to use it. Could someone explain how it works or better yet tell me where I could obtain a copy of an instruction manual/pamphlet? I recently saw someone looking for a two bolt adapter for one of these. What year Fords used a two bolt distributer? |

if you keep watching on ebay under "flathead Ford" there is usually somebody selling a reprint of the instructions |

Talk to Bruce Lancaster.....he plays with these old tools.. Also, can you send a pic. My grandpa has one (maybe the same) that has instructions. I would be willing to make you a copy if gramps would let me borrow it to do so.....he's funny about stuff leaving his property... Let me know! |

The reprint is likely available from Bob Drake. Instructions are also in several places in the Ford service bulletins, all available in reprint. There are several generations of the tool and its wheel, though all are pretty similar. |

I received a Lebaron Bonney catalog in the mail today - noted they also have instructions. |

Thanks to all that responded especially Mark Ga. I ordered a copy of the instructions from Labaron Bonney as he suggested. |

Re: K. R. Wilson Timing Fixture 101
Regularly on ebay there is a ad for "KRW TOOLS" but it actually is for INSTRUCTIONS for the timing fixture.they start out at $9.99 .Only a couple of pages .I questioned the ad as this is not a TOOL ,they appoligized for confusion but continue to list as TOOL.If LeBaron has them for less thats where I would go. |
