quick ammeter question
I ordered a new ammeter to replace my original one, mainly for astetic purposes. The new one reads opposite of what its supposed to (+ instead of - and vise versa). I swapped it back out for the old one and it was working normally. Any idea how to fix this? My old ammeter is cracked so Id rather not use it. Thanks.

Re: quick ammeter question
If you want to use the new one just swap the wires around and everything will be ok.

Re: quick ammeter question
Swap the wires since apparently they were designed to also cater to the Model T which has Negative Ground is what I was told.
No big thing to switch the wires. |

Re: quick ammeter question
Have come up against this problem also in the past. Use the new one and change all the wiring from one terminal to the other. The new Amp meter will work as normal.

Re: quick ammeter question

Re: quick ammeter question
Remember, running 30 AMPS through a 20 AMP meter won't harm or FRY it. Bill W.
