summit rotisserie
Bought a rotisserie from Summit.instruction not too good with how to balance the body on it.Does anyone have one to let me see how to get the thing right.I'm in middle Ga Thanks Don

Have had to make adjustments on how the body was mounted on each of the ones that I have mounted. Suspect there are not any instructions on how to mount the body as they are all different.

from what i hear their is no instructions for no liability, the trend of purchasing most tools today.

I have a home made one that looks a lot like the type Summit sells. First off, try to work out roughly where the centre of balance would be and set the rig up so the pivot point is at that point then once the load is put on it you adjust the balance by slacking off the 4 bolts that hold the vertical member and then wind it up or down until the correct balance is achieved. On mine, when the balance is right, I can rotate the body with one hand and it will stay in position where ever you stop it.
