Roy Nacewicz
Does anyone know if someone is taking over Roy's business?

Re: Roy Nacewicz
Roy is surely missed, I enjoyed talking to him and he had a great product that was reasonably priced. I have resorted to plating my own rusty hardware in copy cad but the results are nowhere near the quality of Roy’s stuff.

I know some people are looking into it . . . but I can't share info at this point. I think we ALL hope it comes true!

Re: Roy Nacewicz
For what it is worth, since when I met him when he was all of eight years old, his name was and remains Michael, not Mike. But he is too polite to correct those who use the short form. How about we all use the name he prefers, namely 'Michael'?

Re: Roy Nacewicz
While my first name is a 'four letter word' . . . seems I've been called a lot of other four letter words that don't sound like my name at all???

Re: Roy Nacewicz
I assumed that the business was still an on-going affair, but I'm gathering that is not the case. That is really too bad. I didn't know Roy, but I was amassing a list of parts to purchase. I'm late to this hobby, but it seems there are a lot of great people who have passed on since I joined this forum. I hope there is enough interest to keep the hobby alive for generations to come as this about as American as baseball and hotdogs.

Re: Roy Nacewicz
Mike, Mikey (as roy called me), or the proper Michael all work for me. Sometimes my wife gives me additional names like “nerd”, or “hoarder”, and on rare occasions she names me “idiot”. The best name in the world that only one person can use is when my sweet daughter calls me daddy.
As for the original topic at hand regarding Roys hardware business..... stayed tuned. I’d imagine there will be some answer to the original question sooner than later |

Well said, Michael! You are a first class individual. Might be a great addition to your existing business. Thank you, too, for your participation in the Early Ford V8 Club! |
