During the Siege of Stalingrad a supply commissar found an artillery company hoarding vodka,they didn't report their casualties to receive their full company allotment.The commissar cut their ration..for a day,by the second day the Arty boys turned their guns around and fired for effect on the rear areas..their vodka ration was restored immediately.Alcohol and benzedrine were daily requirements in the forward areas

The wehrmacht liked model AA's too..the germans reset Russian rail gauge to european spec,a major undertaking.

The panel fit of the cab in the first photo is not bad considering the load being carried and what the roads must have been like.
