Default Headlamp Lens J.S. Identification

I'm not an early (fluted) lens person, so I need help with two things:

1st, does anybody have a detailed picture of the extremely early (oct, nov, dec '27) lens with the script on TOP?

2nd, How do I distinguish an original fluted dec '27-feb-'29 from a replacement? They all have the Script and "H" at the bottom. What clues do I look for?

Jeez, the later twolite lenses are easy. The early fluted ones have me baffled.
