Default 16" EV8 wheels on a Ford 9".

1. Will the 16" EV8 wheel fit on a Ford 9" rear axle"
2. If not is there a work around or adapter.
3. Maybe and option to buy a '34 that is mostly stock except for Ford 9" which is big negative in my book unless ?
Thank you.

Solid steel or spoke wheel? Early Bronco 9" has the same bolt pattern as the early Ford.

If you have the solid steel wheels you can use wheel adapters(easy to find) or redrill the axles for the 5.5 pattern. If you are using wire wheels you can use adapters only as long as the outer ring of the center does not contact the brake drum. Used adapters years ago on a 32 with a 9" and Kelsey-Hayes wires.

Early Ford 15/16 inch steelie's with a 5.5 BP should bolt on to a 9 inch rear also with a 5.5 BP without any adapters. Uses 1/2 inch right hand fine thread lug nuts.

Can't tell which 9-inch you refer to. In addition to the above posts, and from experience, I can add that if the 9-inch came from a 57-58 Wagon or Ranchero, then there is an option of re-drilling and installing studs for the 5-on 5.5. Eric Vaughn (the wheel guy) used to do this, and made this mod for me, several years ago. At the time, he said that these 57-58 rears were the only ones he knew of that had a large enough axle flange, to do this. (I'm posting ancient history, maybe a dozen years old, and I'll bet there is new info available today. Back when, it was the 57-58 version that was chosen because it has the correct width to look right under a 34.)

They will fit on a first generation Bronco rear.

Thank you all. Looks like want to find out what Ford 9" is under the car.
I would likely by using some 16" Kelsey- Hayes bent spoke wires as I have 5 real nice ones.

I don't believe Kelseys will fit over the drums.
