Default pickup box question

I put the wood in my pickup box and the center bed plate over the hump in the frame, does anyone know what the small 3/16" holes are for they go thru the bed strips and the center pan, thanks

They are for two rivets.

They are for the rivets as Pat indicates to secure a heavy piece of webbing to prevent the spring from rubbing the plate
