Default 30 model a tank install

I am putting a gas tank back in a '30 pickup and would like to know the procedure for assembly and sealing it. It's been 12 years since I took it apart and don't remember if there was a sealant between the sheetmetal faces or not.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

No sealant. some type of anti squeak tape(old cloth elec tape) and welting around tank. How to Restore Your Model A, and Les Andrews Model A Ford Mechanic Handbook have articles. plus others.
