Default Valve lash

I am going to go thru my exhaust system, new gaskets, muffler, etc.i figure to check valve lash with all the room i have. Question, valve lash .013 intake, .015 exhaust , hot or cold ? Thanks, mike

I do them cold unless the cam grinder has advised other wise

I have never heard of a cam grinder suggesting to adjust the lash hot. Cold only.

That is correct for typical A engine. Some use .015 for both but most use or consider .013 / .015 to be standard. Unless you have a recommendation from the engine or cam rebuilder.

i am sure it is a model a cam, never reground
