what holds the door glass in the lower channels
I got a pair of 1929 doors. I bought the new lower channels that hold the glass. I bought some bedding i think its called(cork and rubber strip) do i just fold the bedding in half and tuck it in the slot where the glass goes in the lower channel?then push the bottom of the window into the channel?...is there glue involved?...i need some step by step info here..I dont have the glass yet either.. so how thick is the glass i should order from my local auto glass guy?...1/4"?
