A little knowledge can be dangerous
Not in this case , but got a good laugh from Ebay this morning.
First ad was for a CRAB CAKE distributor. Second was for a RARE TWO PART temp sender that was actually a cut off bulb and an adapter.

I like when they say `Never tried it to see if it works.' You can bet it doesn't.

My favorite? It fits a 32 ford.... like NOS-HURST-T-HANDLE-SHIFT-SHIFTER-KNOB-ADAPTORS-FOR-3-4-SPEED-AUTO-ACCESSORY (fits 1932 Ford)

Second was for a RARE TWO PART temp sender that was actually a cut off bulb and an adapter.[/QUOTE] I do commercial Refg and appl work, and this maintenance guy had wire nuted a broken thermostat capillary tube on a soup warmer. He couldn't figure out why it was a run away! When I saw that big red wire nut, I fell out laughing! Chuck |

Re: A little knowledge can be dangerous
Funny but I seem to see a 1939 Mercury, not a Ford.
Maybe that's why it's so rare
