Default 64 Galaie driver door latch system problem

Driver door Inside door handle has a very short throw (Pull) to open the door. I replaced the key lock will not lock the door. Pulling up the Lock knob up will not lock the door. when you close the door the latch 2 stage catch system operates correctly. Are there any adjustments that I can make? Thanks
