Default 40 standard front fender welt question

I know beaded welt fits between the fender and cowl and that flat anti -squeek material fits between the fender and apron. The radiator side baffles fit between the fender and grill. The questions are ..... does beaded welt fit between the fender and baffle or between the baffle and grill? Is flat anti-squeek used in this location and if so, where?
Thanks barners. John

Originally the welt was nailed to the '40 std. fenders. So, in answer to your question, it (welting) was between the fender and the radiator shield(s). Nothing between the shield(s) and the grille.

Thank you. I went ahead and fitted some thin flat butyl material between the shields and grill anyway. It is invisible once assembled and I figure it will kill any chance of squeek between the parts.
