Default correct bellhousing for FE to a T-10???

I have a 59 Fairlane with an fe motor. I also have a big car t-10 that I'd like to run behind it. Has anyone done this? I don’t have a bell housing....what is the best one to use? Anyone who has done this---what do I have to look out for?

Thanks in advance!

There is one of the Mustang parts outfits that makes an adapter for a T-5 to a stock FE stick bell-housing, but you'll have to search around on the net to find them as I lost the web address.

Sorry. It is a T10 from a early 60's galaxie. Didn't think it would be a bolt in, but that would be great. Just need to find a bell housing.....and I don't know what part number im looking for there?

There is at least one on Ebay, 270727205036. This is the part you want. Any '58-'64 Ford/Merc FE bell will work, as the FEs were only in big cars during these years, except for the T-Bolts. In '65 Ford went to a wide bolt pattern that ended the narrow B/W bolt pattern on transmissions.

Disregard my first response. I read T10, but was thinking T5(?). A T10 will bolt right to it if it came from a Ford.
A 3 or 4 speed bell housing is the same.
