Original Running Board Question
On original Model A running boards, where on the bottom was the identifying number(s) stamped? Did it vary by the year? Specifically focused on 31.

Re: Original Running Board Question
This is one of my 31 running boards, you can see the numbers in the top right of the picture. The other picture is a close up of the numbers.

Re: Original Running Board Question
Hi Steve,
The original 31 boards I have the markings are located on the underside between the rear running board arm bracket and rear edge. I will upload photos tomorrow. Jim Last edited by Midwest Tin; 07-28-2018 at 08:03 AM. |

Re: Original Running Board Question
On mine the stamping was very faint and did not show after primer and paint even though I was careful in that area to not apply too much product.
