Judging by the pulley sizing I see, it appears this centrifigal blower operates at about 50% over engine speed. A ratio of 1 to 1.5. Seems low until I noticed there is a gear driven overdrive on the blower blower housing.

Scott looks cooler IMO, but I probably won't be buying either one any time soon.

I think the Frenzel is cool as can be, sometime ago I looked into purchasing one. If I remember correctly they were priced around $10,000.00, there is also one being made in the states. My biggest question was, how do you drive the generator?

I know nothing about blowers, and not much more about anything else, but please tell me why the starter is on the left side? I know the picture is not reversed, because I can at least spell Frenzel.

1954 Canadian flatties had the starter on that side. Finally, changing a starter motor in a RHD car is much simplified...lol Yes, Ford Canada kept the flathead one year longer than USA

Looks like a stock 8ba crank pulley. I would bet it's a work in progress. Looking at the pictures he has some clearance issues to work out.
The distributor looks like it's in the way of using the back sheaves on the upper pulley. This can be over come by the use of a Chevy dissy that the base stands roughly an inch taller and will probably still a need an idler to pull it away even more.
Depending what car it's going in, the water pump hoses will be close to belts.

He probably needs to fab both pulleys.

The vacuum distributor he has maybe the best option.

I have a Malloy flat top with mechanical weights and have been considering using a vacuum advance distributor on my S.c.o.t. setup. Reason being, once you stomp on it, the timing will momentarily retard do to lack of vacuum, helping with detonation until the rpm's increase.

Cool looking blower, but it doesn’t look like it would fit under the hood of many cars.

With my 'total loss ignition' comment, I was referring to the fact that it did not have a means to recharge the battery.
