6 volt + ground horns
I am installing twin horns and a relay and need to pull a new hot – wire, to the relay should it be protected any ideas what amperage two horns pull? And where would you take the wire? I don’t like adding wires too the battery, nor do several wires on the starter switch post appeal to me. But I can’t come up with any other place that may work any ideas?

Re: 6 volt + ground horns
On my 51 Ford the hot wire runs from the battery side of the starter solenoid to the horn relay, no fuse, 12ga. wire. hope this helps...jdl
