Model A and Model B Flywheels Interchangeable?
I'm looking for a flywheel for the Model B engine in my Model T roadster. I have a lightened flywheel in mind but it is a Model A (along with a balanced V8 clutch). So, before I buy, it can anyone tell me if Model A and B flywheels are fully interchangeable? I'm using a Model B flywheel housing with a Model BB clutch housing, a V-8 clutch and T-5 trans.

Re: Model A and Model B Flywheels Interchangeable?
They will both it inside of the flywheel housing fine but Model A flywheel is slightly larger than the Model B flywheel and will rub the B passenger car transmission case. I can only assume you might have the same problem with the BB clutch housing. When you lighten the A flywheel the problem will probably go away.
