40-47 pickup windshield rubber qualities?
Who sells the best quality windshield rubber? I see there is a vast array of pricing out there, just wondering if that is a reflection of the quality of product.

Used Gasket from Dennis Carpenter in our 47. Fit well and still looks good after 20 plus years.

Re: 40-47 pickup windshield rubber qualities?
I want to know about the product, not the supplier. Some of the big names sell crap also.......
For example. Store 'A' sell item for $60. Store 'B' sells one for $80. Not neccesarily is the $80 item better quality, they just overcharge for the $60 piece of crap. Really, I'm not bitter. Honest....well....who am I kidding. Last edited by oldrelics; 10-25-2013 at 09:04 AM. |

C&G was the vendor. As I recall the seal was made by Vintique and it has done the job so far.
