51 Monarch
Another photo from the Canada Day show at Fort Qu'appelle, Sask. Folks South of the border may not see many "Monarchs" being only built and sold in Canada They were basically Mercury, rebadged by Ford and sold at Ford dealerships. Mercury was sold at the Mercury/Lincoln dealerships
This 51 was really nice. Its in the video briefly.

Re: 51 Monarch
I haven't seen one. The grill reminds me of the Lincolns of that era.

Re: 51 Monarch
Ralph, seems like they built a lot of four door cars in Canada back then. Did they only build 4 door cars on certain models ?

but I'd guess the four door sedans might have been the most common. One statistic that I found interesting : in 1953 Monarch actually outsold Mercury in Canada. Just for comparison here is a 51 Mercury pic off the net.
