Default Part Identification (#68)

I've determined this to be a 1932-33 Ford "Sub Rail" part, however I was told that it was a part that attaches to the windshield regulator. Can anyone weigh in?

As above, It looks like the central part of the windshield opening. To be exact, the windshield regulator (opener) attaches to it, rather that it attaching to the regulator.

Mart.
