Front Seat Locks ?
I have a 1928 Tudor. Often I come to a stop, the passenger front seat (and I assume the driver side would do this too if I weren't in it) flops forward. It's an annoyance and somewhat dangerous when I am try to down shift. Are there locks available for the fron seats, or is this the way it is?
Thanks... |

Re: Front Seat Locks ?
That's the brake indicator telling you that you have good brakes and are braking too fast.
Don't recall the seat ever doing that in my 29 Tudor. Is it maybe tilted too far forward? |

Re: Front Seat Locks ?
Snug up the bolts, two at the front that mount to the floor mounts, also the back rest bolts

Re: Front Seat Locks ?
My 29 Tudor has no problems at all, and I would consider the hinges on the front of the passenger seat to be not at all tight. In fact it is pretty loose, but the seat has a center of gravity that makes it so it will not fly forward, and the seat back stays in place too. On mine, the seats lean back a bit because the fronts of the seats are on the hinge posts that stick up out of the floor a couple inches in the front, and the backs of the seats are on little "feet" that are much smaller in height than the front perches.
I am wondering if you have a seat that has been modified with a taller back than an original. Just a thought. |
