Default 35 Tudor Lights

Two newby questions:

The low element of my right headlight is out. I released the spring latch on the bottom of lens but it will not come off. Am I missing something? I tried rotating and pulled pretty hard, but no joy.

My dome light doesn't work. I need to remove the lens to access the bulb. Pulled pretty hard and tried prying with a screw driver, but didn't come off. I don't want to break it. What now?

To remove the headlite bezel, after unlatching it at the bottom like you have, just pull it from the bottom forward and up. Maybe, because it's been in place so long it is somewhat stuck. You may want to use a narrow plastic blade or similar to just lever it from the bottom. use plastic or something similar to avoid chipping the paint on the h'lite bucket.
The dome lite lens is held in place with a wire 'snap ring around it's periphery. You'll need to use a narrow bladed screwdriver or similar to prise it off.

Brian,

Thank you. I always get good information from you half way around the world. With a pry tool, I was able to get the headlight retainer and lens off. It looks like the previous owner had just replaced the reflector, lens, etc. There was a new gasket that made it tight, but I got it off, replaced the bulb and all is good now. I checked the dome light switch with a meter and it looks like that is the problem instead of the bulb. I plan on taking the upholstery off in that area to replace the glass so I will deal with it then. Thanks again for the help.
