Default All I want for Christmas is my Two Tooth steering box

Hello all Barners and Seasons greetings!
I am rebuilding a Gemmer two tooth for My 31' AA and found a problem.
The eccentric slotted screw at the bottom of the sector housing is missing and someone replaced it with an allen bolt. I see in my Snyders catalogue the part listed as:A-3584 Eccentric Rivet
My question is, Has anyone ever replaced this rivet? and how did it go?
From the photo it does not seem to have a lot of meat to rivet in place. Beacause it is an adjustment point, it must turn if needed, so how would it be to rivet a "loose" fit to accomplish it's job?
Thanks in advance for any tips or pointers!
Farrell.

I don't know how to replace it. I do know that if it is turned 180 degrees the wrong way, the sector adustment won't work properly. I was stumped by one earlier this year, until my friend figured out that someone had turned that rivet 180 degrees.

I found another colomn in Dad's stash and cleaned it up yesterday. This one has the rivet in place and as found it was adjusted 90 degrees from the slot up and down. The service bible says this is a "last resort" adjustment should the others prove unacceptable when completed. The rivet should be orientated with slot straight up and down before starting set up after rebuild.
Brian do you recall whether the eccentric was on the top, or bottom when you figured it out?
