Default 28 60-A Fordor pics

I ventured out in the last snow storm to take a few pictures of my fordor. My camera is crap and with the flash, pictures aren't the greatest, but do show some features nicely. I am prolonging the errands for a few more minutes, still pretty cold out...

I like your car. It is a really great original. Is the engin rebuilt or is that original too? I wish mine still had the original paint. Look at my album if you have a chance. Mine is an Oct 28 Leatherback.

Thank you! Great photos of details I'd never seen before. My pile of 60C parts are a long way from being a body. Bob

Great pictures!! I am at the point of deciding details of how to run my pin stripping and wha to paint on doors, etc. I have an early '29 Leatherback.

Do you know if your paint job is the original? Bill G

Very nice, Steve. Hardly see originals like this any more. How many miles are on it?

I agree! There should be a book of original car details of many body styles and another book of all the different factory photos.

That's what's so nice about attending the national meets........is to see the original cars and take pictures of all the details. The problem is, I never take enough pictures.

Thanks guys, have yet to go over it much yet, but very happy to be the current caretaker. This one is 13,960 miles and from the previous history included and some investigative work on my own, it checks out to be most probably correct. Original motor, I have yet to have it started, hope to have some time in spring.

Bill, got your pm, I'll call you tomorrow.

Clearly it's been well loved throughout its life! Almost 100 years old too. Ned

Steve-
Nice Car!!! I hope to see it some day.

How about editing your first post to include the year and exact body style by both name and number. That will help people who are new to the game and still trying to sort out all the (sometimes subtle) differences between and within years and models.

Thanks.
