Default 1937 Coupe 60hp - pistons for 17 stud engine

Hey guys. So the motor has been pulled out of the car and pulled apart (by my mechanic). Turns out that it has been rebuilt before and in quite the mess. Black as coal in there and an inch of sludge in the pan.
My mechanic knows his flatties and advised how easy it is to source parts here in Australia for the 21 stud but not this little 17 stud. Its not the earlier tin side motor.
So now I need to source o/s pistons and rings. Can anyone advise where I might be able to source these?
I'm keen to keep the original engine (I know its crazy as the 21 stud would be a better engine) as I have replaced starter, carb, , petrol pump, water pumps, dizzy, exhaust and have a powergen alternator with adaptor to run the original fan.

I will be getting exact information tomorrow morning in regard to exactly what I need for this little flatty engine rebuild.

Ahhh, thanks for this. I think this is what my mechanic said was the last resort as its going to be very pricey and take a while for shipping to Australia. Also the exchange rate. At least now I can see worst case scenaro costs. Thanks!

What size are you looking for? I have lots of NOS 60 engine parts.
