Default shoebox suspension question

I am having one hell of a time with the outer upper a arm suspension seals. I think I have more money in torn seals than I do in the new suspension so any advice on how to get these things in would be great. I circled them in the pic.

Check shoeboxford.com there was a post not long ago that mentioned a source for better seals that are not such a pain in the ass to install. ..B.

I went thru the same thing with my 51 Merc.
If you can use any of these they are $2 each. They have Merc numbers but might fit anyway.

One of the guys that I trust on SBF forum said the seals from Steele Rubber would stretch w/o breaking, so I ordered mine from them - haven't received the order yet though....Bob L
