Default Shaler vulcanizer

Got this yesterday at the auction. I have a feeling its pre V8.
Can't copy the photos.

Do any seasoned members here know how it works ???

I vaguely remember a match was required to start a fire inside the firebox after the patch was in place and clamped. Of course, I may be wrong.

My first job was vulcanizing-we used electric heaters to 400+ degrees. Newc
