Adding Some Atomosphere
This P&D steel parts cabinet is likely from the 1970s so still a little newer than the 39 Ford that sits beside it. I attached it to the wall today just for fun. Not mine but I'm storing it for my brother until he finds a place for it. I'll likely fill it up with old "junk".
And yes, looking at that picture, I need to clean out a lot of the other non Ford related junk.

Re: Adding Some Atomosphere
All my wall hung cabinets in the garage are period perfect because they came out of my house that was built in 1950.

Neat old Cabinet. Chances are that your brother will let you keep it? |

Re: Adding Some Atomosphere
There is a good chance it will stay here as long as I need it. I have already started putting some ignition parts in it. In the process I found the long lost new condensor for the 39 Ford.

Looks like a perfect place to save all those NOS parts.

Re: Adding Some Atomosphere
Actually a good percentage of those ignition parts are used but still not worn out. Some people will just shake their head at somebody who saves used parts but I have seen a few times where a good used spark plug was better than a new one. Not sure if I have re-used a set of points yet but they don't take much space and maybe a little work with a file and cleaning will put them back in use again.
