Can anyone tell me how the brackets on the back cushion seat in the rumble seat fastens on 29 roadster. mine keeps coming loose and the seat comes up and catches the latch. hope someone has pictures

There is two brackets on top that slide into slots. at the bottom there is about a two inch bracket on both sides fasten to the seat. they have about inch and half slot with screw that fastens to the metal behind the seat in the slot but if they come loose or don't hold the seat moves up in the slot and lets the top brackets out of their slots. I've tighten these several times and still come loose. is there some way besides patin another screw in the slot so it can't come up

Folks I think I have the answer. After putting the top brackets in several time they kept rising up nd back cushion was loose. looking at the bottom slotted brackets I decide to put another screw in the bottom of the slot. well the bottom cushion would not go all the way back. measuring the distance I found the new spring and fusion on the bottom was two tall and it would eventually force the top brackets out of the slots. The bottom seat went under the back about 4 inches so I decided those spring weren't collapsing enough and were no good under the back cushion so I used a dermal and cut the second round into. It worked fine so hope the might help you. and old bottom spring would probably be ok.
