Fords that have the front mounted cross over pipe may require a change of exhaust manifolds to get a better shot for duals. A good muffler shop may be able to form up a set for you but you might have to ask around to find out what shop might be the best bet.

Decided to pass on the '51, eh? Good choice.

As to tailpipes, I think a stocker will work on both sides. The problem is the exhaust pipe. Unless you do some more changes, it comes off the front of the drivers side exhaust manifold and loops up and back over the steering and dives down under the toeboard. The "Waldron" site mentioned above has a picture of their complete system. The driver's side headpipe is right about in the middle of the picture.

yep got a stock 53 but the headers came south or north Carolina has one small rust spot in the back floor board and a small rust spot in the pas side rocker

I looked on the site and seen it

he got back to me it is 175.00 with shipping

there is a guy does exhaust bending about 40 miles away I heard he does good work and is neat

I had couple done at a shop in town I had a pipe fall of after a week he it weld a quarter of a inch
