Wedding Cars in Boston
Does anyone have any referrals on wedding car rentals in the Boston area? My daughter is getting married in May, and like me, she loves 1930's antiques.
Thanks for any help. |

Re: Wedding Cars in Boston
My son and daughter in law were married in Winchester outside Boston. Her dad rented a white 1947 Cadillac limo and driver for the wedding. I could see if he remembers who he rented it from. They probably had other cars to choose from. It's been ten years so I hope they are still in business.

You might give Joe a call at Joe's Antique Auto. He's in Uxbridge, Mass. He's not in the car rental business but he's a good guy to deal with and he might be able to give you a lead or two.

We hired a 1930 Rolls Royce, and driver, to take her from the reception to their hotel. As luck would have it, the Rolls developed a flat tire, on the Express Way on the outskirts of Atlanta. The driver jacked the car up after our daughter and her new husband, in full formal wedding attire, stood on the side of the Express Way while the drover fixed the tire. You can imagine the waves they got from passers by. The worst part of it is that there was not a camera in sight.

CC, heard back on the limo company used for my son's wedding in the Boston area. They are no longer in business.

Re: Wedding Cars in Boston
Great idea and alot of fun and interest added to an already special day.
If I lived near you I'd be happy to do it as a favor for fellow barner. I received some great professional photos from the photographer of my car, too. This is it in front of the chapel in Mercersburg, PA |

Re: Wedding Cars in Boston
My son and daughter in law used my '35 Fordor sedan, Avatar car for their wedding. I was quite honored when they asked me if they could use it.
You might check with some of the EFV-8 Club members in Mass. Frank Miller comes to mind.
