Would someone know if speedometers are all the same from 42-47 on Ford pickups (1/2 ton ? Were they used in 1940 standard cars also ?

The speedometers should be the same in size from 40 standard to the 41 -47 pickups. The gauge faces will have different colors from passenger cars vs commercials. There is also 100 mph and a 60 mph speedometer. Drake made the '40 standard metal gauge faces and the later pickup colors were only done in decals to my knowledge.

Try Bob's Speedometer, 1-800-592-9673. They have a large stock of speedometer and gauges. They are good to deal with, and have fair prices.
