you need the code on the side of the tumbler, glove box key(tumbler) will be the same key.

As ssffnomad pointed out, I have had several early Ford keys made by an experienced locksmith "just" by jigling a blank key and looking at the depressions. If you don't need as much security, the job is easier if he just finds some of the tumblers.

If you have the locking glovebox handle option, you can dis-assemble the lock cylinder from the handle assembly and determine the key code stamped on the lock cylinder. If both locks (the trunk and glovebox) are original to the car, they would have the same key code. I can cut you a key to the code and you could try it out.
