Speedo gear F1 with C4
Does any one know info on where I can find the correct speedo gear for my 1952 F1. I have the stock 3.92 rear with a 302/c4 combo and a speedo cable from a galaxy..
Thanks Dave |

Re: Speedo gear F1 with C4
COUNT THE TEETH ON THE ORIGINAL GEAR, since the auto trans and stick trans come out 1 to 1 going to the rear end it should be the same, one tooth on any speedo gear will change the mph about 5 mph, one tooth less a faster reading, one tooth larger more a slower reading

Re: Speedo gear F1 with C4
I got one from CJ Pony Parts. It is a 23 tooth(part#HW1295). I replaced a 19 tooth that was reading 15+ mph off. It got me close. I also have a 302/C4 from a 72 Mustang with the stock 3.92 rear in my 51 F1. I am using the 72 Mustang speeo cable also.
