Cool 1930 Side Mount Brkt. Location

Does anyone have the measurements for the location of the side mount Brackets to the frame on a 1930 Deluxe Coupe?

Or now were to find it?

At times the position is marked on the frame with small punch marks. Pic below will give the approximate position. There is not much room between the rear engine mount and the brake rod anti-rattler mount. The spare wheel mount base pictured, has been removed from the frame (before I obtained the car) and should be securely riveted in place.
Let me know if you require some actual measurements to go by. The nose cone in the fender will have to be precisely cut in the right position also.

As RHD said every frame I have seen has them punched where you drill. Take a wire brush to it and I bet you will find them.

If you PM your e-mail address, I'll send you the instructions I received from Don Turley that made it real easy for me.

my e-mail ( [email protected] )

Bob Poiry

I had to lift the body of my '30 Deluxe Coupe 4" just to get the side aprons off.
