39 1/2 ton bed installation
hey there guys! Ready to start putting the bed on my truck . ,,,no mounting kit , whats the best kit and who from ? . my truck is coming along , motor is purring like a kitten ,with someC GREAT help from Charlie in N.Y.,Skips water pumps ,Coles ignition .AND ALOT OF MY FORDBARN FRIENDS ! Looking for some insight from the "been there ,done that crowd . right now I just have a nice original bed . I need the little side panels too that go in front of the fenders . thankYou for your time Mike P

Well Mike good to hear. Hope you get some folk's to chime in as I plan on getting to my bed here soon.
I would inquire with Dick Spadaro for poss. parts need's. sometimes has some good used stuff. Scott |

I made up rubber pads for the 8 mounting points from the sidewall of an old tire. I used carriage bolts from Lowes. If you need more clearance between the cab and the bed, raise the front mount with more rubber pads as shims. Good luck. |
