truck radiator
hi guy's,will a 1948 f1 radiator fit in a 50 f5 without any modification?both are v8's

Yes, they were the same as standard equipment, but on the F-5 an Extra Cooling option was available

hey ross,thank you for the info.what extra cooling option was available,i do have a engine,at least the the heads are.

No details on the HD option, but it used a different cap. Probably an extra row of tubes?

i will have to look to see how many rows of tubes mine has. if i have to take the engine out of the f5 do i need to support the trans.i noticed in another thread a fellow had a f3 without a engine and the trans still in.
