What year?
I just bought this T touring half with an abbreviated pickup bed.
I think it's like a 1919 to 1922 but I'm not 100% positive. I need some sheet metal replacement parts and need to know what to get. |

Re: What year?
1915 to 1922 will work. There were 2 or 3 different body builders making bodies for Ford at that time so some fitting will be needed. Contrary to popular thought, not all Fords were the same.

Re: What year?
Make that 17-22. Not 15 or 16.

Re: What year?
Ok 17 - 22. Thanks!
Is Howell's the only place that sells repop sheet metal for T's that old? |

Re: What year?
Here's my 15. Note the shape of the exposed radiator and how the hood follows it. The cowl has a flat front. The hood rests on a hood former attached to the flat surface. A 1916 is the same except that it has black headlight rims, not brass. In 1917 and later years the radiator was enclosed in a steel radiator shell with rounded corners. The hood tapered wider toward the cowl, which matched the hood with no flat surface in front. There was a wood firewall inside the cowl.

Re: What year?
What I see except the windshield and the two roadster tip iron support brackets that have been added is a cut down touring, 1915 to 1921 maybe up to 23 as far as ordering sheet metal for what is shown in the photo. They are the same by the catalogs. There was no change in the cowl from the 1915/16 models to 17 up to 23 in it basic shape. Yes the dash was changed as well as the hood and radiator.
