RPMs measurement
Hi
I have a digital Tachometer. I would like to measure the RPMs of my 1929 Tudor. Can you please tell me where I have to place the reflective tape. Thank you !!! |

Re: RPMs measurement
Crank pulley or on the pressure plate. Usually the eye wants to be 90` to the tape so it reflects correctly.

Be careful of that fan blade and the belt. Not a friendly place to work.

Re: RPMs measurement
I have one and put the tape on the crank pulley. Works great and it doesn't care what engine or spinning item you use it on, but as Jack said, Watch out for them moving parts... Chap
