What's your favorite "peeekup" and why..
I do love the 38/39's, but the 51 F1's are my favorite. It's that front end. Someday

Yes the 38/9's are a great shape and a good looking truck. I cant argue with the 50's you had mentioned. I am partial to the Aussie Ute.

It's got to be the 41, the 'bull nose' piece on the hood.

The '40-'41s are my favorite. I would like make my '41 look like a '41 and not a '40, but that waterfall bull nose is a hard one to find.

The 1935 is my favorite. The front end is reminiscent of the 34 passenger car front end, and you just can't beat a 34 for looks. Gotta love wire spoke wheels too.

I have always loved the 33/34s. They just seem to say hot rod and antique at the same time. But cannot stand them without fenders...

Re: What's your favorite "peeekup" and why..
My first truck was a 48 F-1 that my dad had when i was 15. He helped me restore. But my favorite is the 40 Ford Pickup. Currently my wife is restoring a 48 F-1. Almost ready for paint. But all in all... Any Ford truck just has class! Ken

I really don't have a favorite year but I do like our '51 F-1, maybe it’s because my best friend/brother-in-law had one when we were in High School.

Love my '52 F1 - Henery - really a sweet pickup. It was originally black but I had it repainted Bambalino Blue after restoring it. Enjoy just crusing around in it.

Re: What's your favorite "peeekup" and why..
I guess you that have followed the barn know I favor the 33-34pu style (owned and built 2). I do have a 1928 AV8 pu started but probably won't be a comfortable as the 34pu. I did have a 51pu with a SBC w/JC Wittney adapter to stock trans. Great truck but not as pretty as the older pu's.

I just like a plain ol' 1936 Ford Super Deluxe pickup because that is what I built.

Can anyone pick one year. I think any ford looks good including my 06 f150!
Every truck posted here, so far, are desirable in my opinion. |
