Default 57 with later FE

Getting ready to pull an engine out of a 57. The engine at some point has been replaced with a later FE type engine. Is there any way to easily tell which engine it is, ie 352, 360, 390 etc. ? I am more into Model A's and the 62 unibody pickup I had was bone stock with a 223, so I am alittle lost on this one. The4 barrel intake manifold has something like AH (Thought I had pic's, but I must have deleted them at some point) cast into it instead of FE if that helps. Thanks Rod

The FE I have can have the stroke measured by removing a spark plug. Obviously you will have to go deeper for bore. From my understanding the casting numbers don't tell you a lot.

Thanks, The engine is stuck, so measuring stroke will be a challange. Not really wanting to tear it down to figure it out as I do not plan to rebuild it, just sell it for whatever I can get and move on. My expectations are not real high as I remember the 352's having serious upper end problems. Rod
