Default trapazoid plate

I have a plate that is the shape of a trapezoid. I know it is a plate that goes under the car to support the body rail wood. I don't know witch rail it bolts to. I am thinking it is for the cross piece behind the front seat????????? Help me out

1926 sedan. I have no picture. It has four 1/2 inch holes and 5 holes for wood screws.

If you had a photo it would be easier to identify. It may be the panel for under one of the rear side windows to mount the regulator???????

Get a friend who has a camera to take a picture and post it for you.

That look like where it goes. My gut feeling says that using the carriage bolts was modern and originally it was just mounted with the wood screws from the bottom only. The carriage bolts were added later instead of screws. It's not just that the carriage bolts are new, also does not look like how it would have been done. If it had carriage bolt when built I think they would have been recessed in a pocket down in the wood not sitting on top.
