I disassembled my sedan in 2001. I took pictures. The board behind the dash had two small pieces of wood attached to it. There was two screws thru the dash. The new wood kit only had a thick piece of wood to go behind the dash. Now the screws would hit the wood. They are machine screws. I don't know why the wood is different or what the screws were for. This is an APB for any help.
