Moving my project.
Hi fellows, well we have come to the point where we are down sizing but my project is coming with us . I am in need of a trucking co. that will load my collection of parts and my project . We are moving from Long Island NY to Perry Ohio. The project and parts collection will be put into a storage unit until we get settled. Desperately needing help. Oh my project is a AV8T. Thanks jim.t.

Re: Moving my project.
Long Island is expensive to get to - tolls to cross the GW Bridge & the Throg's Neck Bridge are well over $100.00.
Not much demand to haul out to Long Island - particularly in Winter. You are better off to try & schedule for Spring or Summer. Jim |

Re: Moving my project.
Rent a U-Haul,or something similar, the Econoline box truck and the car trailer is a good combo, easy to drive, not that expensive. If you are unable to load or unload your stuff, U-Haul has affiliated labor crews that do an excellent job for a good price also. I have used the package and would do so again.

Re: Moving my project.
I had a similar problem years ago, and a fellow collector told me to build two wooden crates and fasten them to a rolling chassis. I used u-haul also and saved quite a bit by renting an open car hauling trailer. Once all the parts were in the crates and the chassis was chained down we used heavy clear wrap around the whole works and used a heavy duty tarp for weather purposes. Good luck, moving is never easy.
